Jesus taught to have better "self-talk thoughts" to show how to think God's thoughts, how a Holy being thinks about self and how he sees others, not looking up to emulating a "great thinker." Empathy is from God divorced from Human emotion. God feels with us, not just for Jews. Arrogant Jews are not part of the Redemptive plan God put in motion before there was time or history written history. Jews were arrogant, selfish reflected the people around themselves boastful, prideful each time the Jews were thrown into captivating isolation, Israel/ capital city was destroyed. The old testament is temporary instructions, the new testament lasts, is ruminated on longer. Long enough then it's a permanent change to know God in human form is the only substitute. It's a test that has to take for it to ever be passed. The old testament is an endless hopeless tired of human philosophy with ancient culture blocked in. God is a prop used to focus the structure of society. Focus on the Mind of God not the teachings of a Rabbi. God's ways are higher than our ways.
